what are the odds of not getting charged as an adult for attempted burglary? this is a wisconsin case?
the person that may be getting charged is 17 and they commited the crime right after they turned 17, only within a month or so. what are the odds of not getting charged as an adult?
First let me say I'm not at all familiar with Wisconsin law. Where I live, the chances would be very slim that a 17 year old would be certified as an adult for a charge of attempted burglary. It is called a material (or property) crime. If the charge would be a person crime (murder, assault on a person, etc.) then the chances would be a lot better of the adult certification.
