Is this the true tradition form of training in Chinese martial arts?
One school I've found claims that it uses no grading system, no belts (which I find sensible, most schools over-emphasis belts), and no sparing at all. The head instructor also claimed he thought Bruce Lee was merely an actor and didn't train in any real martial art, merely a watered down form.
Does this sound like a McDojo?
Thanks
To many variances in Traditional CMA. You need to clarify the style as some hve no combat aspect at all. Health ( Yang Style Tai Chi ), and physical benefits other than combat are also a main stream of some CMA> Some have pure wrestling combat to them like Shuai Chaou, some have stand up boxing skills like Chuan Fa, some exotic like Snake or Monkey, and some are esoteric in nature.
You cannot easily classify CMA by simply calling it CMA.
