
What is the best method of cardio training for a martial arts student?
I think perhaps something like the fartlek approach would be best suited for this kind of physical activity, but my cup is empty please tell me what you believe is best!
matters what u getting ready for. if just class then running on stair climber thnigs w/e you wanna call em thats good for me. also the class u do will help with cardio.
but for a fight great cardio comes from sparring, with a bag or a person. i go against a bag for 3 mins and 5 rounds atm and have gone longer round times and less rounds. my fight will be 2 mins and 3 rounds. so over doing it in training just makes it easier on you for show time. "train hard fight easy"
also other exercises like jump rope, speed bags, dif machines, and different things like wheelbarrel and push up combo
