Do Nike Dri-fit shirts keep you dry from rain?

I'm playing in a tournament tomorrow and it's supposed to rain. Will a nike dri-fit keep me warmer, wetter, or does it make no difference. And I'm also wearing a jacket too, for all of you that would ask.

Dri-fit means that the shirt wicks away moisture from your body. If you have a good rain jacket, then the shirt underneath matters less.

ps. Check out golf gloves that are made for the rain. I got a pair and played in the rain. I didn't think once that the club was going to slip from my hands!
