
Is it even worth it buying an exercise band?
I'm going to start working out my body...chest,abs,glutes everything and I want to know if an exercise band will help me...including building muscle,thanks for any help in advance
Look at pilates instructors, that is what they do. They may have the most refined core strength of anyone. Which is important.
Bands are good for improving flexibility, posture, joint mobilization - excellent rehab type stuff especially assisted core movements.
You may find that you will build more muscle with more traditional yoga movements (athletic movements - not long holds).
Look at some Karate instructors, they do yoga based core movements and never touch a weight - some are jacked up.
