The Fluidity Fitness Bar - anybody try it? I've seen the "it's a scam" website and the "I love it" ones - so?
I don't think it's a scam - people who thought it cost 40 bucks seemed like idiots. I know it IS expensive, but it sounds like it works. Has anyone tried it? Any idea on how to get free shipping? I heard that was possible.
I found one through craigslist so it was less than on the website. I do agree that the website isn't that clear what the total price is and it's easy to get confused. You only think it's a scam if you didn't read the fine print and understand there's more than just the one payment.
So anyway, I just went through my 2nd session on the Fluidity Bar today. Yes it kicks your butt. Most other exercise programs seem to work with large movements. This one requires small movements and form is important. If you're not feeling it, my guess is, your form is off. I have to really work at the form, which is hard when you can't see yourself doing it. The first time I went through the beginner dvd and it made me sweat like I couldn't believe. I really like the stretching benefits from this. I used to be very flexible when I was younger but have lost it over the past few years.
Haven't used it enough to tell you I'm a candidate for a testimonial for a major body change but I can say that I don't dread doing this and when the dvd ends, I think "already?". To me, that's a good sign. If I like doing it and how it makes me feel, I'll be more consistent about using it. And you do feel good afterwards. I feel like I have more energy than before I started my session.
If you search on YouTube, you can find an interview with Michelle Austin by Donnie Deutsch where she talks about how she came up with this. It's basically her version of a Lotte Berk workout with a portable ballet barre her dad helped her to design. I've also found other posts that have said the workout is similar to Callenetics and the Bar Method.
