
How to recover quickly from an extreme workout such as fitness or lifting?
Ok, i work out almost about every day! I do hard fitness workouts and lift 1-2 times a week. When i hav an off day what should i be doing to quickly be ready for the next day? Because i seem to go back into a workout verrrry sore or sometimes i even feel pain and i also could injure something..
Can i have some tips please? I seem injury prone alot
Make sure you stretch a lot. That will keep you from getting injured so easily. Also drink a lot of water. Always a good idea when you are lifting and doing a lot of cardio. I took creatine supplements in college and that helps speed up muscle recovery. I played baseball in college and I needed to recover quickly with a 60 game season. And anytime you get real sore it's good to ice the problem muscle/ join area and take a day off to recover and work on a different muscle group. Incorporate all these things and listen to your body. It will tell you when your going overboard.
