
Where can I get a picture/instuctions to change front brake pads on 2003 ford focus on the net?
On a Ford Focus, you shouldn't need any instructions. Once you remove the front wheels, it should be fairly self-evident. The only tools you need to change a set of front brake pads on this particular car is a long flat blade screwdriver, a pair of channel lock pliers (for compressing the brake caliper piston), and a 7mm allen head type socket on a 3/8" drive with ratchet (for the two caliper slide bolts). Just make sure to be careful when reinstalling the two caliper slide bolts that you put them back in straight. The four wheel nuts should only be torqued to 80 ft-lbs. Also, if the front brake rotors are at or below 20.0mm in thickness, they need to be discarded and replaced as well. Hope this helps.
