what size of boxing gloves is right for my size?
I want to buy a new pair of boxing gloves. the ones i had before were 16oz. it was a bit too heavy for me. i weigh 170-175 lbs and im 5'10. should i get 12oz or 14oz?
I'd opt for the 14 oz. Those are the middle of the Road for you. You may grow some and then you'll want the extra room in them. It's about hand size too. Don't get anything that is too small for general sparring.
10-12 oz. for amateur competition.
12 for bag work.get super bag gloves, not competition gloves for bag work.
14oz. for training gloves (sparring) for your 170 lbs.
16-18 oz. for bigger heavyweights.
