What is the difference between baseball, t ball, and softball gloves? Why use any one of them over the others?
A baseball 1st-baseman's mitt has a HUGE pocket. Won't any of the three sports' gloves work well for any of these sports' balls?
The balls are different sizes which is why the gloves have different size pockets.
The first baseman mitt is built to scoop balls out of the dirt, it is not like other fielders gloves.
You can use almost any glove in any position.
If you use a hardball glove in softball the ball may not stay in the pocket when fielding a hard hit shot.
The t ball is about the same as a hard ball so they could be inter changeable, but don't use the soft ball glove for hard ball or the hard ball glove for soft ball.
