How do i replace the factory stereo on a 2005 PT Cruiser without damaging the dash assembly?
I know there is a free online "Chilton" reference guide for all vehicles but I can't recall the Web site. Any help would be awesome and maybe some diagrams and a step-by-step guide to walk me through the process. Thanks!
The trick to your dash is the power window switch module; it can be pried out, and underneath it is a hidden screw. Once that one screw is gone, you can just pull the dash panel off. Be careful and pull around the outside edge of the panel to release the clips one at a time. The radio is held down by four screws, accessible after the dash panel is removed.
