Is there a correlation between heart rate pulse and body temperature due to chronic pain?
I can only speak for myself. I have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy(RSD). I experience severe pain 24/7. Eventually it effects your immune system and I have a constant temperature elevation. My elevated heart rate is a symptom of the RSD also. My BP fluctuates constantly from very high to very low. I cannot maintain a normal body temperature. When I step outside in the winter within 10 minutes everything I'm wearing is soaking wet including my hair as anything cold stimulates my sympathetic nervous system. For most of the winter I am stuck inside because of what happens when I go outside. I become hypothermic quickly. So to pass the time I answer questions on Yahoo answers. Right now I am inside put I'm wearing a jacket because when I get cold my pain is sometimes uncontrollable. Take care, Donna
