
Heavy Grips vs Dumbbells? for forearm workout?
I can't fight a body building section so i'm just going to post this here.
Anyways, I was planning on buying a Heavy Grip or oe of those C.O.C Grippers to build up my forearms but a friend told me I can just use dumbbells.
My question is, Which one is the best way to get my forearms bigger? Will using dumbbells make my grip stronger too?
Using dumbbells is a great way to strengthen forearms. You might have trouble making them bigger.
Forearms can be difficult to work out for many people who are wanting bigger forearms.
I'd start with low weight 2-3 lbs and do wrist curls and reverse wrist curls.
Hand grippers are a great way to strengthen your grip but probably aren't going to increase the size of your forearms quickly. Great thing about them is you can use them and other similar products when you aren't working out.
Another great workout is the wrist roller made popular by Bruce Lee.
Forearm muscle mass can be something that comes with a good deal of time but surely helped with working out.
