Which marshall art is more effective to learn, Karate or Thaikundo ?
I am confused and i have to chose one. I want to be a strong, physically depend man who can take on as many as possible. I want to atttack really hard as well as defending me and my sweetheart. Also suggest which one more easier to learn. What is the diff. between a FULL & a SEMI contact karate? I find the shots and the rules same. Which one should i go for ?
Okay, I think that you mean Tae Kwon Do and that is Karate or a form of Karate developed on the island of Okinawa, later it spread to Korea. Kung fu was first developed by monks in China as exploration expanded the fighting arts went to Korea & Japan where Karate was first established.
I would suggest learning at least the basics from a reputable school in your area before any full or semi full contact. Most Karate schools only let there beginning students spar using only light contact and only allow there senior students to perform medium to full contact.
It's like this if I were to spar with you, hypathitcal, and hit you in your nose just enough to move the skin back, but never contact bone that is light contact. Some bone contact is medium, about an inch deep in my punch. By aiming four inches behind your nose, basically not punching your nose, but punching through it would be full contact that's how people get hurt, understand.
If you want further explanation on the basics refer to the Blog on my 360 page find the first ref to where I start to teach Karate on line and follow it. I started it about a week ago.
