Does anybody have some mma statistics?
I remember sparring one time at my Karate place and when I got into my kickboxing stance my Sensei told me not to be in that stance. He said it leaves you too open, you're standing in a way so that there's more of you to hit and your groin is wide open.
He then got me into this stance, so that there`d be less of me to hit.

Then he said that's why whenever you see kickboxers and such go up against a Karateka they usually lose. So I`d like to see some statistics because I find what he said hard to believe.
MMA is not karate. The primary karate stance fighters, like Machida are very elusive and try not to get hit.
For mma stats, go to sherdog.
