In of kickboxing and bjj do they spar for long in a class, how long? and belts?

I'm taking up kickboxing and bjj and would like to know about the classes are they mostly sparring and also to know how long it would take to get a belt?

classes are intense. they are usually 3 hours. it takes about 2 years to get a belt. longer as you go higher up. matters on your training.
