What's a good knee brace to use after failed knee replacement?
My dad had both knees replaced and neither operation was a big success for several factors. What type of knee brace is good for someone like this? He has lots of knee pain and his knee frequently "gives" out from underneath him. Any personal experience or suggestions? I am guessing he needs something stronger and more supportive like a hinged knee brace versus a slip on elastic one.
My husband has severe osteoarthritis in one of his knees. As he's too young for a total knee replacement, the Dr prescribed him a custom made knee brace. It's called an "Unloader" and takes the pressure off the joint. It has made an incredible difference in hubby's mobility. They are not cheap, but worth it
