possible concussion? doctors please answer...?
I run on a precor treadmill for 30 mins a day 4-5 times a week at around 11 (either km or miles im not too sure though i think its miles) per hour.
Im 80 kg so I tend to land with alot of force. When i get to the last 10 mins or so i start to 'run out of gas' and so i sorta stomp my feet a little to keep going cuz keeping good form is hard then. Doing that i can feel my brain jolting a bit (well not a bit exactly but yeah).
Anyway when i finish and take a drink before i do my other sets(not running) i get headaches and feel sorta dizzy (actually the dizziness starts before i stop) the dizziness is rather mild but id rather be safe than sorry.
So my question is - could that cause concussion? And if it did what would the long term effects be? im only 15 so i need my brain...... i dont know much about the human body, especially about the brain, so any information, even on how to keep the form to stop the jolting, would help.
Thanks in advance
No it will not cause a concussion, lol.
You should stop when your body starts to wear out, you have ran out of energy and instead of burning fat your burning your own muscle.
