What is the best power surge protectors for your computer?
Are the more expensive ones better? And what is the difference between a power surge protector and one of those power strips with the red light? I have a strip and was wondering if I should replace it with an actual surge protector. And my strip has a red switch not an actual light. So I'm thinking that it may be nothing more than just a flat extension cord. Please help.
Computer power supplies are very rugged, why do you think you need a power surge protector? If you live in a house what you really want is to protect your internet connection and phone line from lightning.
