can you get both fighting pokemon from the karate dojo in fire-red?

You can get only one of them, but after you beat the Elite Four and gain access to the rest of the Islands, you can leave the Pokemon you got at the gym and a Ditto at the day care center. When you get an egg, follow these instructions:
breed the hitmonlee or hitmonchan you get in kanto with a ditto. once it's hatched, it evolves at level 20 through an unusual method.
if attack is higher than defence, it's hitmonlee, if defence is higher, hitmonchan. for hitmontop, they have to be equal
