Rubber bands for bracess??? painnn!!! helppp?
when you wear rubber bands on braces do they hurt every time you put them on? does the pain ever go away/like u get used to it? so far everytime i put them on they hurt soooooooo badly on one side not the other. what medicine should i take to ease the pain?? it hurtss soo much! ( i have one one each side of my mouth) also i havent been wearing them alot cause they hurt so much i mean i try but especially at night i cant sleep so i take them off. what should i do???? helppp!

Braces cause teeth to shift and that movement can cause discomfort or pain. I usually recommend ibuprofen for this kind of pain but you should consult your orthodontist if this is a major concern. If you are not wearing your bands, you may extend the time you are wearing your braces.
