Is hiking outdoor a tougher sport than body building in the gym?
I think in a way both can be equally tough.
with body building there is always a chance of dropping the weights on yourself, spraining muscle, being an idiot and trying to lift what is too heavy for you.
in hiking there is the possibility of slipping and falling, breaking a bone , twisting something...being an idiot and trying to take a terrain or path that is too dangerous..
The only difference really is that when body building in a Gym..if you hurt yourself people are around to help.
If you hike alone and you hurt yourself ( or are attacked)..there may be no one around to help you out.
Either one..it is always wise to have people around in case something bad happens.
