Spacebags - For how long can one store cotton/wool items in them without any type of damage to the clothing?
I am thinking about getting the bags, but I need to store stuff for the long term., i.e. 2-3 years. Would it be wise to use them without causing damage to the stuff inside. Stuff would be pillows, woolen tops, wool coat, wool suits, cotton dress, etc.
Those bags are great in theory...I bought a few of them to store my sleeping bags in. I put everything in, followed the directions and sucked out the air with my vacuum and it got really thin. The next day they had air in them as if i had never sucked the air out the first time. I tried over and over and every time the bag was inflated again the next day. Its also happened to many of my friends too. I don't recommend them at all!
