Is it okay to wear a white top to a wedding?

I'm going to a wedding by the beach and have a really cute, really simple knee length red and white skirt. The only thing I have to wear with the skirt is a simple white top. The outfit itself looks far from bridal, but I know that some people are really hung up on the no white at weddings rule. What should I do?

Well you should ask the bride about how she feels about it. But it should be fine...just wear like a red necklace just so you aren't wearing all white on top.
