
is this a good routine for walking on the treadmill?
i am out of shape and just started workout again on the treadmill. i walk 10 minutes at 3.8 speed, then jogging at 5.5 speed for 3 minutes, then slow it down to 3.8 speed again for 10 min, and keep doing that for 50 minutes or so. i find it keeps me a little more motivated to walk on the treadmill, anticipating the higher speed and cool downs.
Hey there! Yes, this is a great work out on the treadmill. The more you vairy your speed and incline, the more results you will see. Also, you can try walking backwards at a high incline at a slower speed or sideways like grapevine
