Do Tankers wear a uniform equvalent to a flight suit?
I saw Army Armored div. and they were wearing a flight suit equivalent to a flight suit instead of the standard issue Army Combat Uniform and I was curious if Cav scouts get the same thing or not and why they wear that instead of ACU's and if they can wear that instead of the ACU's I was wondering what do reg. say about when and wear they can wear it?
My husband says that Cav Scouts can wear them. They are NOMEX and are worn by any crew in a vehicle that has a fixed weapon(Tanks, Bradleys, Helicopters,etc) He wears his when he is going to be on his Tank or on his MRAP as far as him and I know they are issued.....to clarify he ONLY wears them while deployed or while on a FTX not all the time
