Upright Bike

recumbents are more comfortable and (i think) can go faster--why get an upright bike?

if they cant go faster than i guess please let me know and just say whether there are any other reasons.

They do NOT go faster up hill. They are also harder for motorists to see.

No you would not see them in the Tour de France as they are illegal for racing.
