is a Spartan Sports Magnetic Upright Bike any good?

i'm desperate to lose weight, and this is the most affordable bike for me. pleaseeeee can someone tell me if this bike is any good for weight loss?

I would check the local ebay or paper for a used one first. People buy those things all of the time and never use them. That bike does not have good ratings and is only $100 in the US. I would look for something else. I go to Amazon.com and look at the reviews when I am looking to buy something.
