How should I prepare for basic training in the Canadian Forces? Workout and running wise a routine would help?
A workout routine or anything would help... I know that you have to do a lot of running, push ups, sit ups and chin ups but I would like to hear someones opinion on how to prepare. If anyone has a routine that worked for them it would be very much appreciated.
Hi Randy,
you are doing the right thing by preparing yourself ahead. Just take it easy and don't overdo it before you get there. They will make you do the extreme and you will be prepared and not get so sore and full of lactic acid in your muscles. Work up to about 2 miles of jogging if you can and try to get up to 40 push-ups if you can. About 60 sit-ups also. You can do it and feel comfortable before you get in there.
