Did your hospital put a belly wrap around your belly after your c-section to help with the pain?

My first c-section they never did give me one, but I just had my second baby a week ago and they told me to bring a wrap so they could put it on me after I had my c-section. It was to help with the pain of the incision and I am assuming to make my belly go down. I had my second child in another country so I was wondering if anyone else in the states have had their belly wrapped.

They are usually used after c-sections that are vertical and not horizontal.
